One of the most marketable degree courses in Kenya is the degree in Pharmacy. You will need at least a B plain to register for a parallel degree in pharmacy in Kenya. For those joining under JAB, the requirements are either A or A- .The demand for the program is extremely high.
With a degree in Pharmacy, you’ll never be jobless—you can opt to start your own pharmacy or get employed. The salary for employed Pharmacists go as high as ksh600, 000 per month. The lowest a graduate can earn is Ksh 100,000.

Course Duration
The Bachelor of Pharmacy degree course (BPharm) is a full time programme that shall extend over a period of not less than five academic years of three semesters each. All the courses in the programme are core and must be successfully completed by the student before graduation. A course is designated as one or more units of study. Each course shall comprise the contact hours indicated against it. These will comprise of lectures, practicals, research projects and hospital, industrial and community pharmacy attachments. A unit shall be defined as 35 contact hours.
University of Nairobi BACHELOR OF PHARMACY(B.PHARM) Admission Requirements
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have satisfied the University’s general admission criteria of a mean grade C+ (plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E). A minimum C+ (plus) grade pass will be mandatory in each of the cluster subjects. The cluster subjects
