Transfer from Other Institutions
Students enrolled in an accredited higher education institution may apply for transfer to the University in accordance with the policies and procedures approved by the University and according to the terms and conditions set by the University and within the limits of the capacity of each College .
Service Procedures
Admission Application must be submitted electronically for the following groups through:

Admission Criteria
- A high school certificate (Grade 12), or its equivalent, with a minimum score of 80%.
- A score of (1250) in the English EmSAT or its equivalent in IELTS – Academic (5.5), or TOEFL ITP (525)/ IBT (70).
- Applicants graduated from private schools that do not follow the government curriculum and those with high school certificates issued from outside UAE should obtain equivalency for their High School Certificate from UAE Ministry of Education.
- The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours or two semesters with a maximum 60 credit hours.
- The student must be in Good Academic Standing.
- The student should not have received any warnings or academic sanctions.
College Standards
The colleges determine the approved credit hours for transfer to the university according to the standards and agreements and the following conditions:
- Only those courses taken at another institution, in which the final grade was C-, or higher, will be considered for a UAEU degree credit.
- All credits accepted for a transfer will be converted to semester credit hours.
- Credit hours transferred from institutions operating on an academic quarter system will receive two semester hours of credit for each three quarter hours of credit.
- Credit hours transferred from institutions operating on other non-semester systems will be converted according to guidelines defined by the UAEU Enrollment Deanship and the dean of the relevant college.
- Credits accepted for transfer to UAEU should satisfy specific degree program requirements and are not to exceed 25% of the total credit hours of the degree program.
- The receiving academic college will determine the applicability of external transfer credits.
- Grades from transferred credits will not be calculated, or included, in the GPA.
Admission Requirements per College
** Admission to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (Bachelors of Medicine) is limited to UAE nationals and children of Emirati mothers only.
College of Medicine and Health Sciences (Health Sciences Degrees)
- A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Mathematics, or its equivalent*.
- A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Chemistry or Biology or Physics, or its equivalent*.
