High paying Jobs you can get in Kenya without a University degree
There are several high paying jobs in Kenya which do not require a university degree. The most challenging thing is to find a job that pays well when you don’t possess a degree course. Some of the jobs pay as high as Ksh200, 000 per month.
Here is a list of high paying jobs in Kenya which do not require a degree courses:
To become a pilot, you don’t require a university degree, you can finish form four and join college for aviation courses. You’ll spend at least Ksh 6 million to study for the course.
Pilots earn between Ksh300, 000 and Ksh2 million per month.
To join KDF, it’s not a must you possess a degree course, even a form four certificate is enough. Only the Cadet are required to possess a degree or score at least C+ in KCSE.
The salary for a KDF officer is above Ksh70, 000 per month. Only the trainees earn below 70k per month.
MCA & MP
MCAs are not required to possess a degree course same as MPs. You can become an MCA even when you only possess a KCPE certificate.MCAs earn over Ksh500, 000 per month.
To become an MP, you only need to know how to read and write. Once you secure the seat, your monthly salary will be at least Ksh1.2 million.
Police don’t necessarily earn a lot of money but those working in the traffic department make a lot of cash. A police officer earning Ksh 30,000 per month can make more than Ksh400, 000 per month. Most of them have decent homes, apartments and also invested heavily.

Someone with a diploma in pharmacy becomes a pharmacist as long as they are registered with relevant bodies. Most of them start their own Chemists after graduation. In Nairobi, A Chemist makes over Ksh100, 000 per month. Those situated in Nairobi CBD generate more than Ksh500, 000 per month each.
Mobile phone repair jobs
I have gone to Nairobi CBD several times, I like visiting those guys who repair mobile phones. The lines I see in those shops are long, they always make me curious to know how much they make. One guy told me he makes over Ksh300, 000 per month.
To repair mobile phones, you don’t require a degree course, only a certificate or experience that’s needed.

Another job you can do without a university degree in Kenya is blogging. All you need are blogging skills. There are no specific qualifications for one to become a blogger, you just require internet and a laptop.

Become a YouTuber
There are many YouTubers in Kenya without university degrees, some earning millions. This is a job you can do even when your only qualification is a primary certificate.
