TSC has advertised internships for teachers in Kenya. The salaries of primary school teachers is Ksh 10,000 to Ksh 15,000 per month while high school teachers are paid Ksh 20,000 to Ksh 25,000 per month. This is gross salary, meaning that the amount will be subjected to tax and other deductions.
TSC has advertised 20,000 vacancies for interns for the year 2023/2024,apply and start earning a salary. After the internship is over, you will get a chance to be recruited on permanent basis. The interns will be recruited for more than 6 months.
In case you get recruited as a permanent employee, your starting salary will be above Ksh 35,000 for high school teachers and over Ksh 22,000 for primary school teachers.
