Centum is one of the leading private companies in Kenya in terms of salaries. But the company employs top cream from local and international universities. The basic requirement is to get at least Second Class Upper Division from the university. You should also possess a professional course like CFA,ACCA or CPA.

Key requirements for the Centum Graduate trainee program

  • Undergraduate Degree (Upper Second Class and above) in courses that align with the work of centum.
  • O-level Grade of A- and above.
  • attained either CPA, CFA ACCA, or CTs.
  • Must be a fresh graduate or final year undergraduate.

Majority of those recruited scored first class in the university. Centum prefers courses like CFA, Actuarial professional course, Statistics, Bachelor of Commerce, IT and Computer Science.

If you are in college and you want to work at Centum, ensure that you work hard to score first class. You should also pursue professional courses in Actuarial Science,CFE,CFA or ACCA.

They don’t specific age limit, but generally they recruit those aged below 28 years.

The submitted applications are thoroughly evaluated to ascertain whether a candidate has met all the professional qualifications for the program. The shortlisted candidates then go through a series of Aptitude tests, written analytical assessment Management and Exco interviews, one on one interviews with department and business heads, Psychometric assessment, A test of the candidates’ personality, preferences and abilities and lastly, the successful candidates are inducted into the program for training.

Centum Graduate Trainee Salaries

The starting salary of graduate trainees at Centum is Ksh 80,000 to Ksh 120,000. The training takes 1 to 2 years. Upon completion, they are confirmed as permanent employees of the company.

After confirmation, the salary is increased to Ksh 150,000 to Ksh 200,000 per month. This is definitely a good pay.
