Answer

Pursue Masters and PhD in Economics

Enroll for a masters and PhD courses and become a lecturer or consultant. With a PhD qualification, becoming a lecturer is easier. It will take you 4-6 years to complete masters and PhD.

Pursue a professional course

There are many professional courses which can significantly increase your chances of getting a job. One of them is Chartered Financial Analyst(CFA). Another one is ACCA.

ACCA will help you secure employment in a financial institution or audit firm.

CFA is one of the hardest professional courses but very marketable. Once you complete the three levels, your employer may not even focus much on your Bachelor of Economics degree because CFA is more powerful and marketable. The good thing is that CFA is universally recognized.

You can also pursue Actuarial Professional course and become marketable. The professional certification will blend well with your degree course.

Pursue a more marketable degree course

You also have the option of joining the military or the police service.

Look for remote jobs

Relocate to another country

You also have an option of relocating to another country where opportunities are plenty. Look for a Visa to the USA, Canada, UK,Australia or Germany. You will never be jobless here.
