If you scored D or C- in KCSE.You will not be allowed to pursue Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA) unless you meet some conditions.
The required grade is C+ and above but if you scored less than this grade, enroll for a certificate or diploma course offered by KASNEB. Upon completion, they will allow you to directly start pursuing CIFA professional course.
Alternatively, pursue Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) and have at least TWO principal passes.
If you possess any degree course from a Kenyan university or abroad, you will also be allowed to pursue CIFA.
They will also allow you to pursue CIFA when you already possess another professional certification like CFA, CFE or ACCA. They won’t mind whether you scored C+ or less in KCSE.
The best route to take is, pursue a diploma course then later enroll for CIFA
