The course takes 4 years only. It’s an excellent degree to pursue at JKUAT. You are required to score B+ and above in KCSE to be admitted by the government. But if you want to join as a self-sponsored student, minimum KCSE grade is C+

Pharmacy is a very marketable course. It’s offered at JKUAT with entry grade of B-(Minus) and above.
As a pharmacist, you can open your own Chemist or company for selling drugs. You can also be employed in hospitals.

If you want to enroll for pharmacy as a government sponsored student, ensure that you score at least A- in KCSE. But even with A- you may miss the chance—just score A plain. The competition for this course is high.
Bachelor of Quantity Surveying

I have seen many people say that Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science is not a marketable course in Kenya. The truth of the matter is, it’s marketable but only if you do this. Don’t stop at the degree level, enroll for CFA or Actuarial Professional Courses. If you successfully pursue those courses and also score second Upper in your undergraduate, you will never be jobless.
To enroll for this course at JKUAT University, you are required to score at least C+ in KCSE and also be good in mathematics and Physics.

Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics
If you are good in mathematics, pursue Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics. You will be employed by companies like KEMRI or hospitals where clinical studies are conducted. Required KCSE general grade is C+ and above and strong background in Mathematics and sciences.
