Amref is one of the highest paying NGOs in Kenya. They recruit interns fresh from the university. The salary of interns is Ksh 25,000 to Ksh 35,000 per month. Their net salary after tax and other deductions ranges between Ksh 20,000 and Ksh 28,000.
The institution prefers fresh graduates or those who graduated not more than 2 years ago. You should also score at least Second Class Upper in your undergraduate.
The most preferred degrees are IT, Computer Science, Monitoring and Evaluation, Nursing, Medicine & Surgery, Statistics, International Relations or Project Planning.
Internship lasts 6 months to 2 years.It can be extended. You can also be confirmed as a permanent employee of Amref upon completion of the internship. After confirmation, your starting salary will be Ksh 85,000 to Ksh 120,000 per month.
