Most of these officials get house allowance,travelling allowance and other allowances. House Allowance is between Ksh 50,000 and Ksh200,000,fuel allowance is between Ksh 100,000 to Ksh150,000 while other allowances will add up to ksh200,000. Someone will get basic salary of Ksh700,000 and if you add all the allowances,the gross salary will be over Ksh1.2 million.
