Bachelor of Dental Surgery is one of the best degree courses to pursue in Kenya. Yesterday, one of my readers asked whether the course is marketable. My answer is,yes. This is the best course you will do in Kenya at the moment. Once you finish, there are zero chances of being jobless.
If your KCSE grade was C+ and you wish to do a marketable course, then go for Bachelor of Dental Surgery. For government sponsored students, you need at least A- in KCSE. The course is very competitive, which is why its cluster points are high.
Where the course is offered
The course is offered at the University of Nairobi and Moi University. At UoN,the cluster points are 44.577 while Moi university Cluster Points are 39.192
From the cluster points above, at UoN,you cannot be admitted with B+ and below—you must score A- and above. At Moi university, you require B+ and above in KCSE.
For self-sponsored students, you need C+ and above in KCSE. You will also need strong grades in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.
