The era of chasing traffic, getting millions of traffic to earn decent income is over. From 2024 henceforth, your focus should be to create high quality content and specifically targeting high paying niches. As you have noticed Google is changing its algorithm and discouraging content creators who lack quality content. For 2 years, I have that many blogs which used to exist have disappeared from the web.
The New algorithms are favouring authority blogs and forum websites like Raddit and Quora. All the major key words appearing on the first page of Google come from authority site. Shockingly, even small sites which occasionally ranked well on Google had been relegated to lower pages of Google.
Hiving seen how blogs struggle at the moment, it’s worthless to imagine that your blog will attract millions of views in future. For this reason, it’s important to focus on quality of your content and high paying niches which attract low traffic but high income.
The most worrying thing is that Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media handles that send traffic to blogs which will change their algorithms in future so as not to send traffic to those sites. Already, Facebook has introduced and started implementing the algorithm.
As a blogger, first identify niches that pay well with low traffic. Pick one of the niches and create content around it. Niches like loans, Law and Mortgage may not attract high traffic but their income is high—their keywords have high CPC and CPM. For instance, if you go with Loans niche and manage to get 1 million monthly visitors, your blog will generate at least $10,000 per month.
The worst niches are entertainment related, gossiping and lifestyle. Your content will get millions of visitors but income will be little. You will do a lot of work to get traffic which might affect your health.
When it comes to high paying niches, you can even write one high quality article every week and by the end of the month, your income will be more than for someone in the entertainment niche who gets 10 million monthly views.
Even as you create your content, make sure you are the best in your industry. By doing so, your articles will rank high in search engines. You will be recognized as a valuable content creator and your content will even be suggested in Google discover.
